Cliff's College Football Web Site

Welcome to my butt-kicking College Football page!! My name is Cliff Daniels. I am in the tenth grade at Lassiter High School. I live with my mom, dad, two sisters, and my dog Bandit. I play basketball for Lassiter and enjoy going to church, hanging out with my friends, and spending time with Savannah. Here you will find all of my opinions on the best college football teams of the south. Here are a few good football teams of the south: Georgia Tech, Florida State, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and many more.

CLIFFS TOP FIVE FOOTBALL TEAMS

Teams Rank Reasons
Florida State 1 Steady defense with a stealthy offense
Georgia Tech 2 Heisman candidate Joe Hamilton is pro material
Florida 3 Performs well under pressure
Tennessee 4 To be number 1, they need a harder schedule
Alabama 5 A Excellent special teams unit

Hamilton to throw!!

HEISMAN WATCH
During the last four years at Georgia Tech, one man has stood out like no other ever has before. His name is Joe Hamilton; from the little town of Alvin, North Carolina. He started at the quarterback position his freshman year for Georgia Tech. Through October 28 he has passed for 7,139 yards, passed 48 touchdowns, ran for 1,345 rushing yards, and 18 rushing touchdowns. Also, he has the top quarterback rating for the 1999 season in the nation! His best game this season came against number one ranked Florida State. He was 22-25 and threw for 387 yards, four touchdowns, and one additional rushing touchdown. In my eye, there is no man who deserves the Heisman more than Joe Hamilton.

THIS WEEKS BIG SOUTH MATCH UP

Click for Jaime! Jaime vs. Dez Click for Dez!   The N.C. State Wolfpack are out for top ten blood when they face off with the slumping Jackets. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have crawled through two close wins in their last several wins. First to the charging Tar Heels, who took the Jackets into a nerve-racking overtime. This was the Jackets first overtime ever. The following week the Jackets faced the worst team in the ACC, Duke. Duke took the lead in the fourth quarter. If it wasn't for the heroic spirit of Heisman hopeful Joe Hamilton, the Jackets would been on the other end of the stick. Those were two very close wins for Tech. Last week they did not play and by now should have recovered fully from the slide. So the Jackets head into tomorrows game looking to beat the Wolfpack two years in a row and make sure the game is over before the last quarter starts. The Wolfpacks main concern for tomorrow will to be to neutralize Joe Hamilton and force a running game. The game will be one for the books. I give the Yellow Jackets the win 31-24. Look for a break out day for Hamilton.
